MORE INFORMATION
The !MPACT CREW of 2C wishes to organize in a three-day outing for the class on
24-26 May
(Saturday - Monday)- to prevent clashes with EP3 , designed to enhance rapport and build good
relationships among their classmates and teachers. The aim of this camp is to build trust and create
closer bonds among them through outdoor activities. The emphasis is on communication, trust,
support, care and consideration as well as a reward for their continuous hard work for the whole
year, allowing them to have a memorable three days at the outing, along with helping them propose
for more ACE opportunities and help them get some points.
The specific objectives of the 3-day outing are as follows:
a) To realise that one can achieve more with trust and support
b) To develop better communication
c) To promote a caring and sharing relationship
d) Hopefully help the students with their ACE points
The outing is divided into 3 phases. The first phase comprises a score of communicating activities
between the students and trust-building games and encourages participation between members of the
group. The second phase comprises activities that will let the students learn life-long skills like
cooking as a group and most important – teamwork and joy in what they do. The third phase consists
of the ACE Activities that we planned for the class.
Rationale
For this year, students have been working hard for their ACE points, provided with many ACE
opportunities but yet we still always fail to reach the targeted Maximum amount of ACE points for
each subject. The purpose of this event is to gain more ACE points for English, Literature,
Mathematics, Science, Geography, Chinese and History, have a break and also allows students to have
a closer bonding, as it can be seen some students do not have good relationship among the classmates
and are left in a corner, this is a perfect chance for them to do so as there are not many class
gatherings or outings. This is also a chance for us to give thanks to their teachers who have helped
them in our first year as well as giving us these memorable teaching and as well as get along better
with the teachers. This outing’s theme will be “Closer”. It is to create an informal setting, and
after all, it is a three day outing that bonds us together as a class, to create a spirit.
